Our Coventry-based Bremsen Technik Reman remanufacturing plant is equipped with state-of-the-art processing and testing equipment to set our products apart. The team have a wealth of experience, with a specialist focus on remanufactured brake calipers, relined brake shoes and steering boxes for commercial vehicles.
About the role
We are looking to strengthen the Bremsen Technik Reman business with a Maintenance Technician, to be responsible for site corrective, preventive, risk-based and condition-based maintenance activities, ensuring all equipment operates safely and effectively.
This is a new role and will involve responding to breakdowns and faults, planning and conducting preventative maintenance and liaising with external contractors and manufacturers to minimise disruption, and ensure the smooth running of the factory.
This role will be a key addition to our small team, contributing to a continuous improvement culture with a focus on safety, quality and efficiency.
Our ideal candidate is a proven mechanically and electrically focused Maintenance Technician, with experience of operating within a busy manufacturing site. You will hold a sound level of technical expertise, ideally gained within the vehicle components industry:
- Knowledge of hydraulic presses and milling machines (essential)
- Knowledge of shot blasting machines and pressure washers (desirable)
- Understanding of facilitates maintenance (desirable)
A minimum of Level 2 qualifications in mechanical and electrical disciplines as well as a recognised health and safety qualification are essential.
