We pride ourselves on the research and development that goes into each and every product that we manufacture. It is one of the most important factors which we believe sets us apart from the competition and makes us a world class brake and friction manufacturer.
We have engineering teams based in the UK and Germany focusing primarily on wheel end components, with one of the strongest elements being the development of friction materials.
We continuously test our products and work closely with our partners in the industry to make sure all Bremsen Technik brake compounds meet the required regulations. We always ensure that the product performs to the standards that customers and end-users expect.
Our R&D team not only focuses on testing our products but they are responsible for creating and testing new production methods. We strive to consistently improve our products as technology advances to achieve higher quality standards with better real world results. We work alongside partners such as the Greening Testing Laboratories, Link Engineering, QBT, VCA and IDIADA.

Environmental
Impact
Now, more than ever, there is a huge emphasis on the importance of reducing impact on the environment, and this is a cause that we are 100% committed to. The removal of copper and harmful “heavy metals” from products that are designed to wear is a key target for many manufacturers in the friction sector. The Bremsen Technik Group was a pioneer in this area and we were one of the first manufacturers to introduce a copper-free friction material to the commercial vehicle market.
