Having worked closely with Europe’s leading axle manufacturers, the PSI System has been refined and perfected

for the European trailer market, with partnerships now in place with all major axle OEM’s.

Examples include the SAF Tyre Pilot, BPW Air Save, Schmitz Cargobull, JOST’s Plug & Play ATIS, SAE-SMB Airmax and Assali Stefen, with more to come in the near future.

Automatic Tyre Inflation System (ATIS) – how does it work?

The Automatic Tyre Inflation System (ATIS) ensures that tyres are constantly at or above the minimum cold pressure setting, which is pre-set depending on the load and tyre specification. The system also notifies the driver when it is pumping air via a warning light fitted to the trailer behind the cab.

The PSI system was developed in 1993 and has grown to be the number one adopted ATIS in the world. It can be installed on virtually all heavy trailer axles and is the most reliable system on the market with 1.5 million systems in operation.
