After a period of change and acquisition, we are looking to strengthen our Coventry-based Bremsen Technik Reman business with a Production Manager.
About the role
This is a brand-new role, and an exciting opportunity to lead a small Production team to deliver manufacturing targets while identifying and implementing improvements. This includes developing a continuous improvement culture with a focus on safety, quality and efficiency of the site.
Reporting directly to the site’s General Manager, you will be responsible for leading day to day operations and ensuring the achievement of KPI’s through the execution of daily plans. You will oversee the end to end process of remanufacturing commercial vehicle braking components and hold responsibility for the smooth running of all production lines, the quality of output and associated costs.
Our ideal candidate is an ambitious individual with a proven track record in managing daily production activities in a busy manufacturing site.
You will have sound leadership skills, be a great communicator and have the ability to drive performance and improvements. The role requires strong focus on Lean manufacturing and Continuous Improvement principles so proven experience in these areas is highly desirable.
You will hold a sound level of technical expertise in a manufacturing environment, ideally within the vehicle components industry.
A Diploma (or equivalent Level 5 qualification) in a technical subject as well as a recognised health and safety qualification are essential.
