After a period of growth and acquisition, we are looking to create a professional in-house procurement offering to support our business into the future.
About the role
This is an exciting opportunity to build a function from the ground up, reviewing current practice, creating a strategy to ensure optimal performance and value from our suppliers and implementing sound purchasing procedures. This is initially a standalone role so you will operate at strategic and tactical levels, working closely with our supply chain teams, while providing leadership and direction in procurement practice.
You will hold a sound level of procurement expertise and hold a CIPS qualification to support your experience. Ideally you will have a degree level qualification in a related subject. You may already have some strategic or management responsibilities, or be a solid professional, ready to step up into a higher-level role. You will have excellent negotiation and communication skills and be confident in working with a wide range of stakeholders to create and embed a procurement function.
Role: Permanent, full time
Salary: Up to £45,000 depending on experience
Location: Brompton on Swale, North Yorkshire
