We are looking to for a Group Financial Controller to join our team at our team at our Brompton on Swale site.

  

About the role

Reporting directly to the Group Finance Director this is an exciting opportunity to join our team. You will be a key point of contact providing key financial information, working closely with key stakeholders and leading the finance team to manage group consolidation, treasury and payroll activities across the Bremsen Technik Group of companies ensuring compliance and delivery of a professional, high value service. Develop and deliver customer account plans and ensure timely monthly reporting to the Sales Director EMEA, Group Commercial Director, and Board.

You will

  • Oversee all company accounts.
  • Provide support to the Group FD in preparation of monthly and annual reports to identify results, trends, and financial forecasts.
  • Supervise and lead the finance team.
  • Ensure that all financial transactions are properly recorded, filed and reported.
  • Provide regular cash forecasts, ensuring sufficient funds are available to support the Bremsen Technik Group.
  • Provide technical support to the Financial Controllers and Finance Assistants, ensuring effective delivery of a high value service.
  • Provide timely and accurate reporting to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Invoice discounting and trade facility management.
  • Manage the updating of cash books.
  • Manage the provisions of monthly bank reconciliations.
  • Support and facilitate financial and bank audits.
  • Manager group payroll and pension contributions, resolving queries and coordinating with relevant providers.
  • Manage and support the purchase ledger/credit control/expense functions ensuring all procedures are adhered to.

    About you

    Our ideal candidate will:

    • Hold relevant qualifications, qualified CIMA/ACCA/ACA or equivalent.
    • Have demonstrable experience in a practice audit environment.
    • Have people leadership experience, with ability to lead, motivate and coach a team.
    • Have experience in financial management within a global business.
    • Have excellent knowledge of cost accounting and reporting.
    • Be proficient in the use of MS office with an ability to learn new applications and software where required.
    • Demonstrate ability to convey financial information to non-financial team members in an understandable and engaging way.
    • Have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Have organisation and prioritisation skills to managed deadlines and deliver under pressure.
    • Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability to change.
    • Clearly assess problems and analyse options to find solutions.
    • Take initiative and accountability for own actions to proactively deliver what is required.
    • Have experience in ERP system implementation.

    Role: Permanent, full time

    Salary: Negotiable up to £68k based on experience
